My Story:
I’m Korinne James, owner of Before & After Design. I started big with an adventurous retail vision in 2007. Through collaboration and trial and error, my partners and I built out a truly unique retail experience called Olio United. Carrying story-driven housewares, clothing and art, we were written up by Vogue Living (Italia), Design*Sponge and numerous other international press outlets. Olio United’s concept made it the only store at the time to carry eco-friendly, fair trade, slave-free and organic product lines.
Since leaving retail, my creative focus has shifted to reimagining living spaces for clients. There are two equally important sides to this process: developing an understanding of what my clients are looking for in a remodel and knowing and understanding the construction process. Knowing the best people for the job and having good relationships with everyone from painters to dry-wallers to plumbers allows me to plan, manage and run a project smoothly.
